Steam Pressure Reducing Valves

Steam pressure reducing valves drop live or saturated steam from a high-pressure header to the steady lower pressure that equipment, tracing and heating stations actually use, holding the outlet constant while the boiler side swings. The range covers ductile iron or WCB bodies with 2Cr13 discs, SS410/2Cr13 seats, plugs and stems, a 321 stainless steel diaphragm and an adjustable UNS G92600 / 1Cr18Ni9Ti spring, DN15 to DN200 (1/2" to 8") at 2.5 to 4.0 MPa nominal with a 3.75 MPa body test, delivering outlet pressures of 0.02 to 1.6 MPa. Selection turns on the inlet-to-outlet drop, the Cv the load demands, and diaphragm and spring temperature capability for the steam condition.

Ordering & documentation

Documents

Ask for the documentation set with the inquiry — typical items (material certificates, test reports to the listed inspection standard, dimensional drawings) are confirmed and supplied with the quotation.

Quotation

Send the medium, temperature, pressure, size and connection for a quotation-ready inquiry. Lead time, MOQ and price are confirmed at quotation, together with the documents to be supplied with the order.

Sample & supply

Supply terms, order quantities and lead time are agreed per order — state the destination country and required schedule with the inquiry.

Storage & shipping

Store valves with seats and seals protected from UV, ozone and deformation, and keep end-face protectors on until installation; storage limits and shipping arrangements for the selected materials are confirmed at quotation.

Frequently asked questions

What sizes and pressure ratings are available for steam pressure reducing valves?

The published size range is 1/2" to 8", and the published pressure ratings are 2.5 to 4.0MPa. Availability of a specific size and rating is confirmed at quotation.

What materials are steam pressure reducing valves available in?

The published specification lists body materials: Ductile Iron, WCB. Material availability for a specific size and rating is confirmed at quotation.
