What we collect when you send an inquiry

When you submit the inquiry or request-a-quote form on this site (for example on the contact page, the standards cross-reference page or the inquiry section of a product page), we collect:

• Your name and email address (required);
• The requirement text you type into the message field (optional);
• Technical metadata attached to the submission: the page URL you submitted from, the referring page, and your browser language;
• Your IP address and the country and time zone derived from it, recorded with the submission when it is delivered to us by email (used for routing your reply and for abuse prevention; we do not publish it or match it against other records).

How submissions are processed

• Every submission is forwarded to us by email so we can reply to your request.
• Submissions are also stored in our inquiry database together with the metadata listed above. Database records are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted.
• The form is protected against automated abuse by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks whether the submission comes from a human. We do not use this check to advertise to you or to profile you.
• We do not sell inquiry data, and we do not use it for newsletters you did not ask for.

Access and deletion

You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to the address on our contact page and we will delete the record, including the stored database row.
