Application & selection guidance
Choose this over the SS304 execution when the medium carries chlorides or other pitting triggers — the added molybdenum in SS316 is exactly for that duty. Both executions share the same DN15 to DN400, PN16 to PN40 envelope and DIN 3356 design basis, so the material decision, not the size range, is what separates them. End connection is flanged or butt weld; operation can be manual handwheel or actuated. For pressure above PN40 the bellow seal globe family is not the execution — move to a pressure-seal design.
